CUSTOM BUILDS

DigMax have become known for providing quality, affordable custom builds. Lead time can be 8 - 16 weeks depending on complexity. Keep scrolling for some examples of our custom builds.

Grapples & Grabs

We have custom built numerous grapples for a variety of applications. We generally use a worm drive for increase torque and hold force. These have proven very successful for rotating poles from horizontal to veretical for example. We also designed and built a "pole holder' grapple for holding marine piles straight while being vibrated.

Long Reach - Custom Builds

We have supplied custom built Long Reach front ends for 12 ton to 100 ton excavators to meet specific application requirements, such as shortened and stronger for handling larger attachments, larger bucket ram & linkage for increased digging forces, and extra auxiliary lines.

Buckets - Custom Builds

Digmax have custom built numeours extra wide buckets from 3m to 4m wide. We also custom bult a 22 ton class wide bucket for pulling around 8 ton blocks of semi-molten metal slag.

50 Ton Class 3m Wide Tilt Bucket

Digmax Equipment were approached to design and build a 3m wide tilting bucket suit 50 ton class excavator for shaping & finishing work. Weight 2700kg, heaped capacity 2.5m3

30 Ton Class 1900mm Wide Tilt Bucket

Design & build high capacity 30 ton class tilt bucket. The requirement was to achieve a heaped capacity of 1.9m3 - 2.0m3, with a maximum width of 1900mm to enable the cleaning out / scraping of truck bins from the rear, and also achieve optimum weight to maintain structural strength, yet not too heavy for the excavator. Another critical feature was our chamfered back corners for reduced sticking. Weight 1620kg, Heaped Capacity 2.0m3, width 1900mm
