DOUBLE ARM GRAB RAKES 'DOUBLE HUMPER'
DigMax Equipment responded to contractors requesting an affordable Grab Rake.
Grab tines are solid Bisaloy (BIS400), providing high wear life and ability to flex with loading.
Extra Bisaloy wear plates on the tips for increased durability.
Solid plate in front of the ram for protection.
Solid ram stops to prevent the ram spear dead-heading, and prevent the ram base pin from being over-loaded when pushing materail away with the grab arm tips.
Each grab arm works off the same hydraulic circuit, but will independently pressurise on uneven loads.
A single two-way auxiliary hydraulic circuit is all that is required.
The grab arms are positioned so they will open up each side of the dipper arm, and the opening distance tip to tip is large enough to enable the raking of material with the bottom rake frame. With the grab arms opened up, material can be pulled towards the operator with the bottom rake, and pushed away with the grab arms.
These are now well established in the market, and have proven to massively increase versatility and production in all material handling applications, including demolition, waste, forestry, firewood, tree-work, and general earthworks.
These are fully compatible compatible with tilting and standard quick-couplers.
We completed a custom build 25 ton class with 360 continuous rotation, for feeding much into a hogger (see below vidoe).
Come with connection hoses. Pickups can be modified to suit if required.

Bucket pickups: 50 or 55mm dia pins, 201mm internal width, pin centres 305mm
12-14T are 1850mm wide, weight 940kg, max grab opening 1711mmBucket pickups: 65mm dia pins, 277 internal width, pin centres 390mm
20-22T are 2050mm wide, weight 1400kg, max grab opening 2330mmBucket pickups: 80mm dia pins, 333 internal width, pin centres 460mm
30-35T are 2200mm wide, weight 2030kg, max grab opening 2330mm
Bucket pickups:
Option 1: 90mm dia pins, 422 internal width, pin centres 512mm
Option 2: 100mm or 90mm dia pins, 435 internal width, pin centres 543mm
And we can custom build for other size machines.
