GRAPPLES
DigMax have supplied numerous grapples to suit various applications - placing poles, stones, arborist work, and demolition selector grapples to name a few, from 3 ton class right up to 70 ton
Mechanical type, hydraulic type, with or without 360 rotation
We generally use worm drive for the rotate function, as these provide significantly increased rotate torque and hold force than an orbit motor. No case drain required, and low cost to replace should you manage to damage one (circa $560+GST)
We usually fit a fixed head (with 360 rotate) as opposed to the hanging type connection link, enabling full control of your load at all times. Such as grabbing poles and rotating them on their ends, using the rotator to snap the tops out of standing trees, precise placement rocks in stone walls Custom builds available to provide exactly what you require for your application
